Seein’ Red nace en 1988 después de que su integrantes terminan con su anterior banda llamada Lärm donde tocaban Paul, Olav, Jos y Menno. La mayoría de los integrantes de Lärm deciden integrar Seein’ Red a excepción de Menno que se muda a Ámsterdam para terminar sus estudios.
Paul, Olav y Jos prosiguen con el nuevo proyecto musical, ellos 3 ya habían tocado en distintos grupos de punk desde 1979 como The Sextons y Disturbers.
Sus influencias musicales van desde bandas de Hardcore Punk como Minutemen, Faith, Ignition, Fuel y Fugazi hasta música como 60’s beat, jazz, blues, hip/hop, rock’n'roll, soul, indie-stuff, folk y country.
Su política como banda de Hardcore Punk es el “Hágalo usted mismo” (DIY en sus siglas en inglés), consideran que la música es un vehículo para expresar sus ideas políticas, son anticapitalistas, antirracistas, están en contra de la discriminación sexual. Tanto en sus letras como en el arte de sus discos ellos expresan sus ideas y su preferencia política por el Comunismo. Paul y Olav militaron en el Nuevo Partido Comunista (New Communist Party) de Holanda.
Regularmente antes de comenzar sus canciones dan una explicación sobre la letra o sobre ciertas ideas. (fuente wiki)

Willy Crook (Eduardo Pantano) es un saxofonista, guitarrista, vocalista y compositor argentino participó en las bandas de rock Patricio Rey y Sus Redonditos de Ricota y Los Abuelos de la Nada. Fue telonero de James Brown y David Bowie en sus visitas a Buenos Aires. Colaboró con artistas como Charly García, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Sumo y más recientemente Gotan Project.
Este disco presenta versiones adaptadas al estilo de Willy, haciendo covers desde los Beatles hasta Billy Joel.

En sus comienzos la banda hacia algo así como un doom death metal, con el paso de los discos el sonido cambio radicalmente a un power pop con algo de punk melódico. En su momento el cantante explicó que era la música que tenía ganas de hacer y lo que le daba felicidad escribir, dijo que sabía que iba a perder a los fans que escuchaban a la banda en sus comienzos, pero que no quería mentirse a si mismo ni a la gente.

At Folsom Prison es un álbum en vivo del cantante country Johnny Cash grabado y lanzado el año 1968 en la prisión estatal de Folsom, California. En el álbum aparecen artistas como June Carter, Carl Perkins y la banda de Cash “the Tennessee Three” en el Cd se incluyen canciones como “Greystone Chapel” que fue escrita por un prisionero de la cárcel llamado Glen Sherley y por lo tanto nunca la había cantado en su vida sino hasta la noche antes de la presentación, esa misma noche antes de conocer de la canción vino el sacerdote de la prisión y le mostró la canción interpretada por el prisionero y rápidamente hizo que la incluyeran en el álbum y la presentación.
